Gasthaus Zur Klippe Schierke in Schierke

We stayed for a week in October in the associated holiday apartment "Zum Wildbach" ... were allowed to have delicious dinners three times on the cliff. We recommend! Comes in fine over the closing time.

The food and the service are great. We can highly recommend the game dishes and the portions are huge. We were therefore here 2 days in a row and would love to come back.

Today we made a short trip from Anhalt to the Harz Mountains and decided to have dinner at the Gasthaus zur Klippe. We ordered a place for 2 people from Mr. Michael at lunchtime. It was fabulous again, the food was delicious, the staff was very nice and competent, gladly again.

Outstanding food, great service, really great! Before we sat down, our child was given pens and coloring pictures, then there was the menu and the drinks were on their way! The Kliffenschnitzel and the Jägerschnitzel were really delicious and the price-performance ratio was right! We would love to come back!

There were four of us at Gasthaus zur Klippe in mid-October 2020. We received a very warm welcome. The inn is bright and friendly. The waiting times on Friday evening were short despite the well-frequented inn. Drinks and food were absolutely top quality as well as quantity! Both red deer dishes can be recommended without reservation! The game goulash for € 12.90 is my favorite. The price-performance ratio was just as convincing as the competent, friendly and cordial service. Normally I don't like to give 5 stars because then there is no more room for improvement, but everything was really right here! I am already looking forward to the next visit!

After waiting for over an hour, we were rewarded with a really delicious meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant is more like a better village pub, but the food makes up for it. What didn't work was the salad that was served with the meal - Knorrfix sends its regards. There is also a minus point for the bottle with hand disinfection that was at the entrance. There was only water in it. Then it is better not to offer a disinfectant! The fact that there was no list on which the guests had to sign fit in with this.

It was really great! The food was just great and on point. Really highly recommended and the staff is friendly and accommodating. We would love to come back. Small note: You should make a reservation at the current time.

Highly Recommended. Very tasty food at great prices. The service is not only very friendly, but also special because as a holiday guest you can pick up the food and enjoy it in the apartment. And that on "real" dishes. Environmentally friendly. Make a reservation if you want to eat on site.

Very large selection of many dishes and drinks. Here, too, the chef creates game dishes and desserts. Price and performance are totally right here. The service is great despite Corona. You are greeted and said goodbye humorously and briskly. We would love to come back.

Mega delicious food ... can only recommend the "Jägerpfanne". Great meat, says my partner too ... His father is a hunter, so he knows very good game meat. Super friendly staff ... Funny, even though it was completely full. You should always make a reservation.

Very nice staff! We had to postpone the time because we underestimated the Brocken climb. That wasn't a problem at all. We had deer steak Au Fore which was delicious. And such a large portion that my husband had to help me and couldn't make it, although that's not otherwise a problem. 😉 The dessert was then unfortunately canceled. The knuckles and other plates that came to the other guests looked extremely tasty. Good selection of drinks. You have to make a reservation urgently, preferably the day before, otherwise you have no chance. Except possibly sitting outside. Anytime again ...

Food was absolutely delicious. Big portion. And the service was very friendly and attentive. Our daughter was treated very nicely. We all felt very comfortable and were completely satisfied 😊

Due to the good reviews on google, we decided on the restaurant on the cliff. We arrived with 6 children and 6 adults and our expectations were fully met. Delicious food - nice staff - pleasant location. A worthy end to our hike on the Brocken. Thanks a lot for this.

Ambience: cozy. Service: great (very nice and dedicated). Food: underground. After ordering, it took 1h20min for the food to be served. We have never seen anything like this before. The quality of the food was nothing special, but okay.

Were here spontaneously to eat / drink and although it was probably relatively full, a possibility was spontaneously created that we could find enough space in our group. The food was delicious but a little too greasy for my taste. The service was hard-working and friendly and everything seemed clean and tidy. Only the outside area was not so nice, as everything seemed a bit tight. In addition - I suspect a motion detector - a white light occasionally came on, which was very dazzling.

There were 6 people and didn't get a seat at first - when we said that only 3 of us had something to eat, we were asked to sit at a table of four. Everything was properly disinfected there before we got the cards. Everything was very clean and the staff was very attentive and friendly. After a visit to the Brocken, the food was a blessing!

Very good hearty food, reasonable prices, nice ambience and very friendly service. The portions were also sufficient. Everyone gets full here. What more do you want? We were very satisfied and would be happy to come back on our next vacation in the Harz Mountains.

Reservation recommended. Nevertheless, we were able to get a table. Everything is freshly disinfected. Staff very nice. Food also very tasty. However, we had to wait quite a long time, over 1 hour. We were apparently there at peak time. Around 19 o 'clock.

We didn't stay overnight in this inn but dined extremely well. The food was good. Just keep a home-style kitchen. :) The waitresses were also pretty quick and extremely courteous. For my part, a clear recommendation if you want to eat something delicious in a cozy environment.

Food was OK. Service could be better.

The mod of the restaurant was good, we ordered two wild steaks and one steak Platte. The vegetables was too salty and too peppery. The chicken and the pork on the steak Platte was good, but the beef was cooked dry like an old shoe. When we asked about it they didn't do anything about it. Not good enough!
